Welcome to the Social graphs and interactions course. This class probably works a little differently from other classes you've taken. To avoid any confusion, I've created this notebook to explain how everything works.
Each week of this class is an IPython notebook like this one. In order to successfully follow the class, you simply start reading from the top, following the instructions. As you read, you will encounter three things that should cause you to take break from reading or sometimes leave the page for a little bit:
I originally developed this material as part of a Coursera version of the class.
The plan was that DTU and Coursera were going to collaborate on putting a bunch of classes on line. They asked some of their most amazing teachers (= Sune) to help develop the material, but after I had completed one semester, Coursera decided to 'pivot' and gave up university collaborations. (That's also why I might say Coursera once or twice in the recoded material.)
The upshot is that I ended up developing some cool teaching materials. And was excited enough to keep teaching according to some of the same principles. I now use Github to host the course and - between you and me - that's a way better platform anyway.
Anyway, one of the things we had to develop for the Coursera course was an advertisement for the course. And since I think it turned out pretty great, I'm including it here for your viewing pleasure.
*Video lecture*: Get psyched for the class by watching me make a fool out of myself on video. (And making outdated cultural references.)
The video can be safely skipped. But seriously. You should watch it.

Video lecture: Start by watching the "How we do things" video below. The video explains the pedagogical aspects of how the class works.
